Home split units and cassette systems should be serviced at least once a year. A single minor service protects the compressor, keeps the filters clean and catches small refrigerant leaks before they become expensive.
Offices, retail centres and industrial facilities put HVAC systems under far heavier load. We recommend a full service every three to six months, plus filter changes in between. Regular servicing keeps the coils clean, the airflow strong and the electricity bill under control.
A proper HVAC service includes cleaning filters and coils, clearing drain lines, checking refrigerant pressures, inspecting electrical connections and testing overall performance. Skipping any of these steps shortens the life of the equipment.
